The Coastal is currently being flipped upside down as we speak. This seems to be a running gag nearly every year in this division. And for the Atlantic, the Clemson Tigers are storming out front with their various challengers dropping off themselves. - NC State Wolfpack (4-2, 1-1)
- Syracuse Orange (3-3, 0-2)

Thoughts on the Atlantic
The NC State Wolfpack picked up a nice Thursday night win at home against Syracuse. It seemed this game was being controlled for most of the affair by the Wolfpack however, Syracuse showed a great attempt to comeback at the end. The Clemson Tigers absolutely mauled the Florida Seminoles and reminded any doubters that they are still in firm control of their division. Louisville led a valiant upset against Wake Forest on the road, even managing to put up 62 against the Demon Deacon defense. Not to sure what happened there. Other than that, the Boston College Eagles were on a bye week, which is probably best for them at the moment.
Thoughts on the Coastal:
Of course Virginia had to make this division even more complicated with their loss to Miami on the road. The Cavaliers just could not produce enough points in the redzone. Virginia Tech looked well-rounded against the Rhode Island Rams, that defense just lets up so many big plays. Duke took care of Georgia Tech soundly, which nearly everyone of their opponents has done this season so don’t get too excited Blue Devil fans. The North Carolina Tarheels and Pittsburgh Panthers were on their bye weeks for big matchups against Virginia Tech and Syracuse.
