Arkansas Basketball: This May Be The Best Razorbacks Recruiting Class Ever (Part two)
Last week I opened up a series on Arkansas basketball recruiting, this week I am going to keep at it with part two. If you have not read part one click the link below.
Chris Moore
Chris Moore is another Arkansas kid, but I am not so sure that he will be calling the hogs. Moore is a 6-6, 200lbs power forward out of West Memphis, Arkansas who is sitting inside the ESPN top 150 rankings. Chris has made a name for himself in Arkansas being one of the top players in the state for the past few seasons. Moore is also taking an official visit, this one on the weekend of Sept. 20-22. The reason I said I am not so sure on him earlier in the article is because of how hard Penny Hardaway and Memphis have been going after this kid.
Crystal Ball
247Sports has no crystal balls for Arkansas, but one to Memphis, and one to Ole Miss. Rivals.com does have a crystal ball prediction in favor of Arkansas and it is from a pretty valuable source. Russell Johnson is the recruiting analyst that casted this crystal ball and at the time he is 431/468 on his picks, hopefully he gets this one right as well. Moore is up in the air for me, but hopefully after his official visit he will realize that he wants to stay home and be a hog!
Jaylin Williams
THIS IS A MUST GET FOR ARKANSAS. Do I need to repeat it again, ARKANSAS MUST GET JAYLIN WILLIAMS. I think I got my point across. Williams is a 6-9 230 lbs center out of Fort Smith (Northside High School), Arkansas. Jaylin shot up the rankings this summer going from unranked all the way up to number 66 in the country per 247Sports. The unique thing about Jaylin is his ability to dribble the ball and shoot the ball. For someone as big as Williams is he can handle the ball very well and he can pull up for three in transition and knock it down. When he gets to college he will more than likely be used as a power forward depending on where he goes, but I think he will end up with the razorbacks.
Crystal Ball
247 sports has one crystal ball posted for Williams and it is in favor of the hogs. Danny West, who is an Arkansas insider, made a prediction a week ago that the big man would land at Arkansas. Rivals is a little different as Williams has one prediction to Arkansas and one to Oklahoma State. The Fort Smith Native will be making an appearance on the hill this weekend for the red-white game at barnhill arena.
