2019 Auburn Tigers Football: First Half Season Predictions
The Auburn Tigers are coming off a mediocre season in 2018 finishing with an 8-5 record. However, last season is in the past and it’s time to jump into the 2019 season. This year will be a big year for Gus Malzahn and his job security.
Saturday, August 31st Vs Oregon
This high powered Ducks offense will be a big test for the Tigers defense. In the end, this game will come down to how well Auburn’s defensive line can get to Ducks quarterback, Justin Herbert. This game will also be one of those games that could decide if Malzahn stays or goes. I believe Gus Malzahn will make sure his team shows up ready to play.

Saturday, September 7th Vs Tulane
After a tough game the Tigers will get a break as the Green Wave come to Jordan-Hare. Quarterback Bo Nix should see at least one half of playtime. Tigers should win easily

Saturday, September 14th Vs Kent State
2nd of three “scrimmage” type games for the Tigers.

Saturday, September 21st Vs Texas A&M
After a couple scrimmage games the Tigers will play their first Conference game. This should be a tough game for The Tigers. However, Texas A&M lost a ton of talent to either injury, or the NFL. For the A&M, Kellen Mond looks to be improved this year, but I believe Auburn’s defense will prove to be too much for the Aggies.

Saturday, September 28th Vs Mississippi State
Last year, the Bulldogs got a shockingly, easy fourteen point win against Auburn. I expect the Tigers to flip the tables this year. The MSU Bulldogs lost Three key players to the NFL Draft (Abrams, Sweat and Simmons) to the NFL. This game feels like it may be a low scoring game. Give me the Tigers in this one too. Saturday, October 5th Vs Florida
The Tigers head to Camping World Stadium to play the Florida Gators. This is always a hard place for any team to play. I have the Gators winning this one in a tight one. In the last four games of 2018 Gators Quarterback Feleipe Franks and head coach Dan Mullen found their groove and averaged 45 points a game. I think it will only get better for Florida after an entire off-season. FLORIDA 27, AUBURN 20
