College Gameday Predictions for Week 3 of the 2019 CFB Season
Where Will College Gameday Go Week 3?
Clemson @ Syracuse
Likelihood: 40%
2 years ago, Syracuse upset Clemson 27-24 at home in one of the most exciting games you’ve ever seen. Syracuse has never hosted College Gameday and will definitely have a decent shot Week 3 with a weak slate. They should be ranked pretty favorably after a really solid 2018 season. If they beat Liberty and Maryland weeks one and two, they could be ranked 15-20ish taking on the No. 1 team in the nation. Sign me up.
Stanford @ UCF
Likelihood: 40%
Gameday visited UCF last season in what was one of the better atmospheres of the year. Stanford offers a solid opponent to a team that has went 25-1 over the past two seasons. Will people still care about UCF after losing to LSU in the bowl game? No idea, but if they get Gameday at home again this season it will have to be week 3.
Oklahoma @ UCLA
Likelihood: 15%
UCLA takes on a Natty contender in Oklahoma at one of the biggest stadiums in the country (90,888). That’s the good. However, UCLA needs to get their shit together. They’re coming off a 3-9 season. That’s the not good. If they can beat Cincinnati and San Diego State to start out 2-0, their chances will skyrocket.
Florida @ Kentucky
Likelihood: 5%
Two pretty solid SEC team that have a chance to win some games this season. If Cuse/UCF are 1-1 coming into this week and the comitte decides that UCLA is too bad to host this week, this could win by default. There’s at least a decent chance of that playing out.
