Jahvon Quinerly Transferring From Villanova
After a disappointing first season for the freshman point guard, Quinerly has decided to transfer from the Villanova team. In his 2018-2019 run, Jahvon Quinerly averaged a line of: 3.2 PPG, 0.8 RBPG, 0.9 APG, and 33.7 FG%.
Many fans believe that Quinerly has made this decision because he “didn’t get to run the show”. Whether this is right or not, it is clear that the Wildcats are losing an important piece of their future in the guard spot. The only real precursor of this decision came from a private meeting between Quinerly and Head Coach Jay Wright.
It is not known where Quinerly is thinking about going, but whichever team gets to land him will need to incorporate him quickly into a lead spot.
