GT Coach, Brent Key, Writes a Very Iffy Tweet
The Georgia Tech football team lost a very big part of their football family on Sunday with the death of Senior DL Brandon Adams. Even after a thorough autopsy, the cause of death is still primarily unknown. This came a large topic in Sunday’s new and many gave their condolences to Adam’s family and teammates.
However, one of the Georgia Tech associate coaches had a…different way of taking the news. This came in the form of a tweet and was the main cause of controversial rumbling across the twitter platform and college football nation alike.
For Brent Key, he soon found out this was a less-than-savory response to a touching topic to many around him. Although, in Key’s defense, you could say that he remarked Brandon Adams as a “GREAT MAN”. This still is not the way to go about business of a recently deceased player of your own team. The intention was in good means, but the delivery wasn’t matching.
