NCAA Tournament Injury Watch: Key Injuries That Could Affect Your Bracket
March Madness kicks off this week and there are some major players coming off game-changing injuries. Here are some players to monitor before you submit your final bracket.
Justin Robinson G Virginia Tech
Robinson has missed a huge chunk of games in the later half of the season and could be a huge pickup for an already talented VT team. He is easily their best offensive player.
Dean Wade F Kansas State
Wade’s status is up in the air, but its safe to say that he will not be playing in round one. Many are speculating that he will miss the whole tourney due to the fact that he was seen in a walking boot yesterday. KSU made the sweet 16 last season without him.
Jordan Caroline F Nevada
Caroline is Nevada’s second best player putting up an impressive 17.3 PPG and 9.6 RPG in regular season play this season. Although nobody truly knows if he’s 100%, he will be starting.
Tyus Battle G Syracuse
Battle has missed the past few games, but is now almost back to full health. Battle plays 36.3 MPG and could see all 40 against Baylor if he is up to it.
Nick Ward F Michigan State
Ward missed about a month, but has played limited time in the previous 3 games totaling 8,11, and 14 minutes. He was clearly not 100% and will be a player to monitor looking forwards.
