Daily CBB Picks: 3/8/19
Last night, we were on the dot. All of the games went our way, some as expected, some better than expected. Now lets up we can keep up the production tonight with some good matchups.
Record for Last Picks: 5-0 (100%)
Overall Record: 13-2 (87%)
Miami (FL) at #15 Virginia Tech
I was originally picking the Hokies to get the win tonight as it was, but now there is word that Justin Robinson may return tonight for his final home game. I don’t think it is true, but if it is, then I could see Tech winning by the 10s and 20s. I am taking Virginia Tech to rebound with a solid win after losing to Florida State in OT. Virginia Tech 71, Miami 59
Bowling Green at #19 Buffalo
Buffalo was been on a great roll for the past eight days. And for Bowling Green, they have been shaky on their last five games with no clear answer to solve their problems. I will take Buffalo in a closer game, but a notable win for the Bulls. Buffalo 79, Bowling Green 73
Minnesota at #24 Maryland
These two teams aren’t really impressing me recently with how they’ve been playing. However, I do like Maryland’s defense enough to pick in that line or direction. The field goal percentage and rebounding also has been on Maryland’s side when we dive into who has the edge. I am going to go with the Terrapins, but would not be surprised if Minnesota got an upset. Maryland 65, Minnesota 63
Charleston Southern vs Radford (Neutral Site)
Radford was looking to be an actual team to compete in March, but soon has dropped off to bad losses. And now they get to be tested with a tough Charleston Southern team that is more than capable of winning this game. I felt that a pick for Charles Southern would be good, but I came back to the board looking for answers. Radford has shown that, even though they can lose, that they are consistent in those losses. I will take Radford in a good game from the Big South. Radford 67, Charleston Southern 63
Yale at Pennsylvania
Playing for something at home. This is why the Quakers will get a big win tonight against their Ivy League counterpart in Yale. The Yale team already has their ticket stamped and Penn has not. I think Pennsylvania will drive themselves behind a great home crowd and the incentive to fight for a spot. Penn 67, Yale 61
