Maryland Gets Transfer Josh Jackson From Virginia Tech
Late Monday night, one of the newest quarterback transfers, Josh Jackson, decided he would be joining the Maryland Terrapins for his last two years of NCAA eligibility. This makes a good fit for Jackson, as the Terrapins have had quarterback troubles for the last couple of years. Also, the new influx of talent from the transfer portal has led Maryland to become a new sensation in offseason talks.
Josh Jackson will join his former teammate, Sean Savoy, who also decided to transfer after his spot was in turmoil. This can grab an early connection and maybe have Maryland do well early on in the season. The fans of Maryland are excited to get a high prospected transfer recruit from the portal for a new future.
In his freshman year at Virginia Tech, Josh Jackson threw for 2,991 yards with 20 touchdowns to combine to it. I think many college football fans are hesitant to speak on Josh Jackson because they haven’t seen his full potential outside of his freshman year. Whatever the case may be, Maryland got a great quarterback from the portal.
