This has been a great start to signing day for Virginia Tech with their flipping of 4-Star OT Doug Nester. Prior to today, Nester was committed to the Buckeyes since December, until news of Urban Meyer’s retirement spread like wildfire. This gave the offensive tackle from West Virginia some second thoughts on where he wanted to play football.

This well help out the Virginia Tech’s offensive future along with three other offensive linemen commits. Justin Fuente has been trying to pull in top recruits on the line to help provide a cushion for assumed future starter, QB Quincy Patterson. I assume Nester will do just well with his college football career at the Hokies and will try to prove the haters on his decision wrong.
