Duke Football Hit With a Major Transfer
Starting WR Aaron Young has decided to enter his name into the transfer portal to leave the Blue Devils. This one will leave a mark on the already depleted Duke Blue Devils, especially since there losing of their core of wide receivers and a name off the new one gone. Young went for 139 receiving yards last year, but was set up to hit around the 750+ mark for this season. Now the Blue Devils will be with 15 starters from last year, with most skilled positions leaving due to graduation.
Alabama’s season-opening opponent for this year may be losing one of its top returning playmakers.

The only positive out of this was that the Blue Devils get one scholarship closer to being at the allowed amount for a team. Duke only needs to rid themselves of one more scholarship to be at the NCAA limit. This will most likely come from a starter transferring or a red-shirted player transferring.
