Geoff Collins To Be Named Georgia Tech’s Head Coach
Today, Georgia Tech has announced that Geoff Collins, Temple Head Coach, will be taking his luggage to Atlanta. This comes after his 15-10 record coaching at Temple with a bowl berth against Duke. Collins will take the helm after Paul Johnson’s final game coaching the Yellow Jackets in the Quick Lane Bowl against Minnesota.
Geoff Collins is a Georgia native and played football for Western Carolina form 1989-1992. With his passion for football, Collins became an assistant coach at his alma mater. As the years went on, Collins found himself bouncing from school to school from the likes of Fordham to Alabama. Now Collins will that the reigns of a storied program in Georgia Tech.
