3 Biggest Things To Watch For
1. Can Jake Bentley have a redemption game after two poor performances against the Tigers?
2. Will Trevor Lawrence be able to get out to a better start than he did last week against Duke?
3. Can South Carolina slow down Clemson’s rushing attack and manufacture any yards of their own on the ground?
3 Bold Predictions
1. Clemson holds South Carolina to under 50 yards rushing.
2. Jake Bentley throws 2+ INTs and is benched in the second half.
3. Clemson is up by 20+ points at the half.
Game Run Down
The Palmetto Bowl has been one of the most hatred-driven rivalries in the country, but as of late it hasn’t been due to Clemson’s dominance. Things seem to be shaping up to be much of the same, as Clemson’s balanced offense and vaunted D-line should be able to dominate this one. South Carolina has to get something going in the running game, because they can’t put everything on Bentley’s shoulders and expect to compete in this one. I expect Clemson to come out fast and put this one out of reach, as South Carolina can’t get much going with there being constant pressure on Bentley. Travis Etienne should really make a strong case for an invite to New York in this game.
Score Prediction: Clemson 38 | South Carolina 20
Game MVP: Travis Etienne | Clemson | Running Back
