After Northwestern dismantled Wisconsin in the previous week, many people put undefeated Notre Dame on upset watch. However, the Irish didn’t fail.
ND escaped Evanston with a 31-21 victory. With the victory, the Irish improve to 9-0 for the second time in the last 25 years.
Although, Northwestern didn’t make it too easy. The Wildcats put up a decent fight, The Cats were able to keep it even in the first half.
All in all, ND was just the better team.
NU will take on Iowa next week.
