Oregon Announces Uni Collab with Jordan Brand
Earlier today, the Oregon Ducks revealed a Jordan brand football uniform combo. No official date was given for when the Ducks will wear these, but that hasn’t impeded excitement relating to the new kit. It features a black helmet with a minimalist wing design that the Ducks have used in past years. Following this is a black jersey with white numbers surrounded by a green stroke. The true show-stealer here is the Jumpman logo emblazoned on the upper left chest, to the right of the Oregon logo with an ‘X’ between the two, signifying the partnership. Black pants are also seen with identical logo artwork. To cap it all off, the Ducks will sport black Jordan 11 cleats with pleasant accents of green.
This was bound to happen. With the rise of Jumpman uniforms being donned in college football, it was only a matter of time before the uniform revolutionaries out in Eugene got in on the action. Oregon turned the uniform world on its head within the last decade, but has recently become somewhat average in the ever changing world of sports apparel. I’m interested to see what we will see from the Ducks in the future.
