Game Run Down:
This one wasn’t even as close as the final score indicates. After USC got out to a early 14-0 lead, Utah’s offense took over. Tyler Huntely played on the best games of his life, as he continued his recent hot stretch passing the ball, while Zack Moss went for over 130 yards on the ground. The balance of the Utes’ offense made things very hard for the Trojan defense, but it also didn’t help that JT Daniels couldn’t get anything going. He was benched for Matt Fink later in the game, but Fink still failed to provide a spark. The running game was sluggish, and neither QB could really find any rhythm in the passing game. Not all of it was on USC though; the Utah defense has gotten better every week, and they played at a high level last night. Utah is one of the hottest teams in the country at the moment, and they take firm control of the Pac-12 South with this win. USC, on the other hand, has a QB situation to figure out, and some offensive line issues to look at.
