Countdown to CBB: Indiana Basketball Preview
The Hoosiers lack much national recognition or appeal, but they should outclass the expected merit and win the Big-10 title *gasp*.
It’s a little out there, yes, coming off a 16-15 season with a new head coach in Archie Miller. But amid a rare Big-10 lull with storied programs slipping through the cracks, it’s Indiana time to stir the pot of contention. And they have the roster to tango with Michigan for the share of the conference title.
Romeo Langford is the big draw in terms of national headlines, but Juwan Morgan is often overlooked. His offensive prowess is still atop the conference at roughly 17-ppg and his 7-rebounds makes him a constant double-double threat.
As a team, they struggled from beyond the arc at 32%, and their offense was at times stagnant, looking discombobulated with Morgan on the bench. Once again, and get used to this, Langford will up those numbers.
