Wednesday morning, the Big 12 released their Pre-Season selections for the 2018-2019 season. Dean Wade headlines as the Preseason Player of the Year, only the 2nd time a Wildcat has received this award. Preseason Newcomer and Freshman of the year both come from Lawrence as F Dedric Lawson and Quentin Grimes take those respectively. Kansas had the most in total with 3 as Baylor, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State did not have any on the team or honorable mention.
