0 Huge loss today for UCLA as projected backup PG Tyger Campbell will reportetly miss the 2018-2019 season with a torn ACL. With UCLA’s top freshman Shareef O’Neal already out for the year, UCLA’s once great recruiting class looks a lot less deep.
Campbell was the 91st Recruit in the nation and 14th ranked Point Guard. With him sidelined, look for Jalen Hands (only other PG on roster) to be given much more responsibility handling the ball. Hands averaged 9.9 PPG and 2.6 APG last year.
UCLA was arguably the best team on paper in the Pac-12 but now have significant holes to fill. UCLA opens October 6th against Fort Wayne.
