The Price of Brian Bowen
October 3rd, 2018 — Brian Bowen Sr. pleads guilty to accepting 100-thousand liquid cash from Adidas proxys, while also admitting that the overture wasn’t isolated.
Oklahoma State’s offer: 150-thousand dollars, a car, and a house for Brian Bowen, totaling to a gross amount of roughly 275-thousand.
Texas’s offer: Financial help with housing
Arizona’s offer: 50-thousand
Creighton’s offer: 100-thousand and good job
Michigan State, Bowen’s desired program throughout the recruiting circuit, withheld any cash offers.
Bowen Sr. was briefed through agent, Christian Dawkins, the mouthpiece of the alleged offers, who is standing trial in New York on charges of wire fraud and wire fraud conspiracy.
But cash offers wear all different suits, and this could be a lukewarm trophy to other that sway the nations elites.
