Maryland at #15 Michigan
Maryland at #15 Michigan Series:
- Game will be at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan
- Game will start at 12:00 PM ET
- Michigan leads series 6-1
- Michigan holds current win streak of 3
Offensive Players to watch:
Maryland: I’m sure Anthony MacFarland will be abused by Maryland this weekend. He has shown to get better and better every game, with his rushing yards increasing each time. MacFarland averages 10.8 yards per carry; that is absurd! If Maryland can use MacFarland right, this will be an interesting game.
Michigan: Shea Patterson, once again. This man is putting up great numbers in his first year at Michigan, since transferring from Ole Miss. Patterson has tossed up 905 yards in his 5 games. I think Michigan looks to utilize Patterson on this weak Maryland secondary.
Defensive Players to watch:
Maryland: Jesse Aniebonam sure is bullying some of the Big Ten’s teams. Aniebonam’s tenacious pass rush is proving to be a key use in the Maryland defense. Aniebonam can help provide outside pressure for the Terps and get Michigan feeling uneasy. Look for Maryland to bring the heat.
Michigan: Devin Bush in the name, racking up tackles is the game. Bush has been an undeniable advantage for the Wolverines against opposing offenses. His presence in the middle of the field provides to be problematic for offensive coordinators. If Bush can continue to work at the rate he is currently going, this will be cake.
The Basics:
Michigan has won their last 4 by an average of 30. Maryland dropped to Temple, but bounced back to Minnesota. Michigan proves they can create more offense and also show that their defense can play with big dogs. Maryland has won only 1 meeting out of the 4 between the two since 2014. I’m not buying Maryland’s pitch right now, give me the Wolverines.
Prediction:
38-16 Michigan
