Building the Dream College Football Team
Ever imagined what the best parts of the college football would look like when all rolled up into one? Here you go:
Brand:
For a college to be considered for the best branding it must have a large fan base, unique logo, and a great name. Unfortunately, this really limits us to a Power-5 team, so if your team hasn’t built themselves yet, maybe further down the road. For this dream team, we are going with the bold scarlet and grey. Yes, we are taking the Buckeyes.
Brand- Ohio State
Uniforms:
Nothing gets the players more excited for a game than some crazy uniforms. For our team, we need a school’s uniforms that bring a distinct look to our team and gets the fans excited as well. I think you might have an idea of who we are going with on this one. It doesn’t get more uniform-crazed than Oregon.

Stadium:
A great college football stadium can make or break the home-field advantage. When picking our stadium, we need to find one that can drown out the QB’s voice and cause fear in the hearts of opponents. The team’s stadium that we are going with has held many large games and is on any college football fan’s bucket list. Yes, it’s the Big House.
Stadium-Michigan
Head Coach:
Without a coach, there is no team. We need someone who can go anywhere and win instantly. I think this one is really easy for us to pick, since he has many national titles and i’m sure has more to come. We are going with no other than Alabama’s Nick Saban. No explanation for this one.
Head Coach- Nick Saban (Alabama)
Offensive Coordinator:
Only the best can run our offense. This means you can bring heat onto the field and get us points when needed. Also, we need a sense of uniqueness to our offense that can cause teams some trickery. This man can pick apart aggressive defensive and cause a nightmare for defensive coordinators. This is the man in Norman, Lincoln Riley. He did it with Mayfield and is doing it now with Murray. Riley seems to always have an upper hand on his opponents.
Offensive Coordinator- Lincoln Riley (Oklahoma)
Defensive Coordinator:
Defense wins championships. This is the mindset we need when picking our defensive coordinator. We really need someone who can bring the heat on the defensive side. And as well as doing great, we need someone who has constantly been consistent with turnovers and causing problems for offenses. For our pick, we are going with the Lunch Pail and Bud Foster. Foster has proved to create top defenses year in and year out.
Defensive Coordinator- Bud Foster (Virginia Tech)
Offensive Unit:
This unit must be balanced with the run, as well as the pass. Must have a great QB that can run and pass. Also, a strong offensive line is needed to provide as much working time as possible. We originally had one squad on here, but their running back was injured. So, instead, we have to go with the second best choice. Alabama. Alabama brings a large presence of power onto the scene when they take on teams. Their ability to roll down the field is unmatched.
Offensive Unit- Alabama
Defensive Unit
For our defense, we want a team that can dish out beatings on opponents offenses. This must incite that we can cause turnovers and score on this side of the ball. And also, it would be nice to hold offenses to a limited number of yards for passing and rushing. This time we go with Michigan. Michigan has shown that can shut down the pass and the run equally. They are in the top-10 for both of these defensive categories.
