Ohio State Escapes With 27-26 Come From Behind Victory.

Ohio State has had the odds stacked against them all season, weather it was the shame of the sexual abuse allegations against former assistant coach, Zach Smith, or going on the road to one of the loudest stadiums in College Football.

And while Ohio State faces this adversity, the Buckeyes always seem to come up in the clutch.

This is what Urban Meyer’s squad did tonight. 

After falling down by 13 early, Ohio State battled back. The Buckeyes took their first lead early in the second half. From this point on, the two teams traded blows. That was until K.J Hill reached pay-dirt on a 24 yard touchdown reception. This TD was the score that eventually sealed the victory for OSU.

Sophomore quarterback, Dwayne Haskins struggled early, but got more comfortable as the game went on. In his first true road game, Haskins completed 22 out of 39 passes for 270 yards and 3 touchdowns. Haskins performance was not as glamours as his previous 4, however he got the W. And when it comes down to it, winning is the only stat that has any relevance. 

On the other sideline, Trace McSorley had another memorable performance. McSorley passed for 286 yards and two touchdowns. McSorley also was the Nitany Lions leading rusher with 175 yards rushing. Trace McSorley played out of his mind once again, his performance just wasn’t enough to topple Ohio State.

With the win, OSU now becomes the clear favorite to win the Big Ten East. 

After the loss, PSU falls to 4-1.
