Ian Book and Notre Dame Roll Stanford 38-17
Notre Dame crossed the threshold of elite and onto the playoff throne after strolling through Stanford.
Ian Book was expected to regress back towards to mean after a five touchdown opening week, but he continued to perform. Book threw for 278 yards on a 72% completion rate along with four touchdowns.
But, wide-out Miles Boykin stole the stage with 144 receiving yards on 11 receptions. Oh, and running back Dexter Williams rushed for 161 yards on a 7.7 average.
For Stanford, it was a mediocre outing at its best, but the real headline was Bryce Love. Holdover from last years ankle injury flared up once again, as he was sidelined and taken to the lockeroom on multiple occasions.
