5 Oklahoma at Iowa State
Last Season Iowa State shocked the country beating an Oklahoma team that didn’t lose again until the Playoffs. Iowa State won’t be able to keep up with Oklahoma’s lethal offense this year even without Rodney Anderson.

Both SEC teams have elite defenses, Auburn’s offense is just a little bit better and they have home field advantage. Auburn in a very close game.

Close Calls:
17 Boise State at 24 Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State winning this game would be huge for the Big 12. Boise State is the arguably best Group of 5 teams in the nation and has a legit top 10 defense in the nation. If Boise State can contain Justice Hill, they will hold Oklahoma State’s offense to a stand-still and win in a grind-it-out game.

4 Ohio State vs. 15 TCU
Ohio State has more talent on both ends of the ball, but you have to love this TCU defense this season. Haskins will outplay Robinson and Ohio State will win a tough 1 score game.

Texas is back. Well actually they aren’t, after an embarrassing loss to Maryland and a one score win over Tulsa. I have very little confidence in USC and Freshman QB JT Daniels, but I have no confidence in Texas on a week-week basis.
