- Wingspan: 7’0.25″
- Weight: 208 LBs
Strengths:
Ideal size for a wing.
Has some good handles for size.
A lot of potential as a shooter. Smooth jumper.
Versatile defender. Has length and lateral quickness.
Gifted athlete.
Weaknesses:
Very inefficient. 35.6 FG% and 33.3 3PT%.
Can be passive offensively. If his jumper isn’t falling he can just be a warm body offensively.
Foul Prone. Gambles defensively.
NBA Comparison:
More Athletic Otto Porter Jr.
Versatile defenders who are capable of stretching the floor and using their size in the paint. They use their length to generate steals and play a factor on the boards. Reddish has a lot more upside due to his athleticism.
NBA Draft Range:
4-9 Range.
Ideal Fits:
Cavaliers at 5:
We’ve seen Reddish take a complimentary role at Duke, but he hasn’t really had an opportunity to be the featured player. He could potentially do that on a Cavalier team that has very few building blocks after Sexton. Developing as a No. 1 scoring option would be the best scenario for Reddish and the Cavs would be the place to do it in 2019-2020.
Atlanta at 8:
If the Hawks decide to get a Wing here, Reddish would be a great pick if he’s available. His defensive upside and shooting would be a nice compliment to offensive minded Trae Young and John Collins on a team that’s trying to adjust to modern NBA. Taurean Price just got traded and their is a noticeable lack of talent on the Wing that would allow Reddish to play major minutes.
