Admiral Schofield NBA Scouting Report and Pro Comparison
Admiral Schofield NBA Draft Scouting Report
Measurements:
- Age: 22
- Height: 6’5.25″
- Wingspan: 6’9.75″
- Weight: 240 LBs
Strengths:
NBA ready body.
Efficient. 47.4 FG% and 41.8 3PT%.
Can be a factor on the boards for a 2/3.
One of the best catch and shoot guys in the class.
Pretty versatile defender. Motor and strength make him tough to score on.
Weaknesses:
Bit of a Tweener. Doesn’t have great size for a 3/4 at 6’5″, but doesn’t have quickness/playmaking for a 2.
Struggles to create own shot.
Will struggle to guard quicker players.
Rarely gets to the FT line. 2.3 Attempts in 31.7 MPG.
Below Average Athlete.
NBA Comparison:
Damyean Dotson
High floor, low ceiling guys who are decent defenders and snipers from the corners. They are very decent rebounders for wings and use their strength well on smaller players. A lack of getting to the line and average playmaking limit their impact.
NBA Draft Outlook:
23-36.
Ideal Fits:
Golden State at 28:
GSW have more than enough capable playmakers and would benefit from Schofields catch and shoot jumper. He could get decent minutes behind Klay Thompson and play a 3 and D role on what has been one of the best teams ever.
Brooklyn at 31:
Schofield would benefit significantly playing off of a PG as good as Russell and could maximize his off-ball skills. His size and strength would be ideal for a team that could use some help on the boards.
